This time Arjun Vagale and Ramiro Lopez invite Pleasurekraft to the party for a very special two-tracker. Hot on the heels of a string of heavily supported Kraftek dispatches, this release headlines a monolithic year for the act and sets us up for the debut Pleasurekraft album due early next year!
‘Nagelbett’ sets the scene. Translating to bed of nails, it’s as disciplined and as tough as its title suggests. Highly-sprung with a late night energetic bounce and unrelenting groove, it’s a dark, focused, hypnotic in its sense of drive and momentum and damn good fun to cut into a heavily layered mix.
The release concludes with an exceptional remix of label co-boss Ramiro Lopez’s ‘Twisted’. Taking us right back to the label’s second release last February, Pleasurekraft maintain the original’s turbine groove with a thundering pneumatic kick/snare roll, but subvert the gnarly acid for a warmer bass riff that’s just as persistent but bumps with just the right amount of machine funk.
